332 Regulations relating to information (1) For the purposes of section 279 , the Governor-General may, on the recommendation of the Minister and the Minister designated under section 289(2) , by Order in Council, make regulations— (a) prescribing information that is required to be provided and collected for any purposes set out in section 279(2) : (b) requiring the prescribed information to be provided and collected in the prescribed manner and by the prescribed due date (if any). (2) The Minister must not make any recommendation under subsection (1) without first consulting the persons or organisations the Minister considers appropriate, having regard to the subject-matter of the proposed regulations.
