Section 336 — Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Compensation Act 2001: Amendment of Schedule 2 by Order in Council

336 Amendment of Schedule 2 by Order in Council (1) The Governor-General may, by Order in Council made on the recommendation of the Minister, amend Schedule 2 by— (a) adding or varying the description of a personal injury, together with the corresponding— (i) agents, dusts, compounds, substances, radiation, or things (as the case may be) and, if appropriate, the relevant level or extent of exposure to such agents, dusts, compounds, substances, radiation, or things; or (ii) occupations, industries, or processes; or (b) updating the schedule in order that the schedule may conform with the terminology or recommended practices of any international organisation. (2) The Minister must not make any recommendation under subsection (1) without first consulting the persons or organisations the Minister considers appropriate, having regard to the subject-matter of the proposed order. Section 336(1)(a): substituted, on 1 August 2008, by section 30 of the Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Compensation Amendment Act 2008 (2008 No 46).
