Section 47 — Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Compensation Act 2001: Amendments to Code

47 Amendments to Code (1) The Code may be amended by the Minister approving, by notice in the Gazette , 1 or more amendments to the Code proposed by the Minister or the Corporation. (2) Sections 42(2) to (5) , 43 , and 44 apply, with all necessary modifications, in relation to an amendment to the Code as if the amendment were the preparation of a draft Code. (3) However, those provisions do not apply to an amendment if— (a) the amendment is a minor or technical amendment; and (b) the Minister considers that compliance with those provisions is unnecessary.
