75 Spouse or partner status or dependency arising after date of personal injury (1) The Corporation is liable to provide entitlements to a person who— (a) becomes the spouse or partner or a dependant of the claimant after the date on which the claimant suffered personal injury; and (b) is the spouse or partner or a dependant of the claimant at the date of the claimant's death as a result of personal injury for which he or she has cover. (2) Subclause (1) is subject to subclause (3) . (3) The Corporation is not liable under subclause (1) if the Corporation decides, on reasonable grounds, that the main purpose of the person in becoming a spouse or partner or dependant was to qualify for entitlements.
