Section 147 — Land Transfer Act 1952: Caveat may be withdrawn

147 Caveat may be withdrawn Any caveat may be withdrawn by the caveator or by his attorney or agent under a written authority, and either as to the whole or any part of the land affected, or the consent of the caveator may be given for the registration of any particular dealing expressed to be made subject to the rights of the caveator: Provided that where a registrable instrument purporting to give effect to the estate or interest of the caveator is presented to the Registrar for registration immediately following a withdrawal of a caveat previously lodged to protect that estate or interest, the authority of any agent executing the withdrawal on behalf of the caveator need not be in writing.
