Section 185 — Land Transfer Act 1952: All private General land to be brought under this Act

185 All private General land to be brought under this Act (1) The Registrar shall continue with all convenient speed, but subject to the provisions of section 19 of this Act with regard to land for which no Crown grant has been issued, to bring under this Act all land heretofore alienated from the Crown for an estate in fee simple and not already subject to this Act, so that all such land shall be brought under this Act as soon as may be. (2) This section shall not apply to land over which the Maori title has not been extinguished. Compare: 1924 No 32 s 3; 1947 No 59 s 2
