Section 186 — Land Transfer Act 1952: Application to bring land under this Act deemed to be made

186 Application to bring land under this Act deemed to be made As soon as the Registrar shall proceed, for the purposes of this Part of this Act, to examine the title to any land to which this Part of this Act applies, or the Registrar shall proceed to bring any such land under the provisions of this Act, application to bring that land under this Act shall be deemed to have been made by a person competent to make the application under this Act. Compare: 1924 No 32 s 4 Section 186 was amended, as from 1 February 1999, by section 43(1) Land Transfer (Automation) Amendment Act 1998 (1998 No 123) by substituting the word “ Registrar ” for the word “ Examiner ” .
