Section 51 — Land Transfer Act 1952: When register duly constituted, provisional register to be closed

51 When register duly constituted, provisional register to be closed (1) So soon as the register of any land is finally constituted, the Registrar shall close the provisional register as to that land, and shall transfer to the register the record of all memorials and entries affecting that land so far as may be necessary to preserve existing interests. (2) The Registrar shall also record the same on the duplicate grant, and all such memorials and entries and the dealings to which they relate shall thereafter take effect as if the same had been originally entered in the register. (3) Every dealing the memorial or entry whereof has been either originally entered on or has been transferred to the register in manner aforesaid shall be deemed to be finally registered.
