60 Claims for loss through neglect of claimant to register No person claiming any estate or interest by virtue of any deed or instrument which might have been registered against the land under any Act for the time being in force for the registration of deeds within New Zealand shall have any claim or action against the Crown by reason of deprivation of that estate or interest consequent on bringing the land under this Act, unless that deed or instrument has been so registered, or unless the Registrar has been served personally with notice in writing of the claim, or has had actual personal knowledge thereof, and has omitted to recognise the same.
