Section 64 — Land Transfer Act 1952: Title guaranteed to registered proprietor

64 Title guaranteed to registered proprietor Subject to the provisions of Part 1 of the Land Transfer Amendment Act 1963 , after land has become subject to this Act, no title thereto, or to any right, privilege, or easement in, upon, or over the same, shall be acquired by possession or user adversely to or in derogation of the title of the registered proprietor. Compare: 1915 No 35 s 60 Section 64 was amended, as from 23 October 1963, by section 22(b) Land Transfer Amendment Act 1963 (1963 No 61) by inserting the words “ Subject to the provisions of Part 1 of the Land Transfer Amendment Act 1963 ” .
