Schedule 5 Attestation of instruments Form No 1 Section 159 CERTIFICATE OF DISTRICT LAND REGISTRAR, JUSTICE OF THE PEACE, ETC, TAKING DECLARATION OF ATTESTING WITNESS APPEARED before me at ....... , the ....... day of ....... 19 ... , CD, of ....... , a person known to me and of good repute, attesting witness to this instrument, and acknowledged his signature to the same; and did further declare that AB, the party executing the same, was personally known to him, the said CD, and that the signature of this said instrument is in the handwriting of the said AB. EF, District Land Registrar [ or Justice of the Peace, or Notary Public, or Solicitor of the High Court Form No 2 Section 160 CERTIFICATE OF DISTRICT LAND REGISTRAR, JUSTICE OF THE PEACE, ETC, BEFORE WHOM INSTRUMENT ACKNOWLEDGED BY THE PARTY EXECUTING SAME APPEARED before me at , the day of 19 , AB, of , the party executing the within instrument, and acknowledged that he did freely and voluntarily sign the same. EF, District Land Registrar [ or Justice of the Peace, or Notary Public, or Solicitor of the High Court The words “ High Court ” were substituted, as from 1 April 1980, for the words “ Supreme Court ” pursuant to section 12 Judicature Amendment Act 1979 (1979 No 124).
