Section 29 — Official Information Act 1982: Application of Ombudsmen Act 1975

29 Application of Ombudsmen Act 1975 (1) Except as otherwise provided by this Act, the provisions of the Ombudsmen Act 1975 shall apply in respect of investigations and other proceedings carried out under this Part of this Act in respect of decisions under Part 2 or section 10 of this Act as if they were investigations carried out under the Ombudsmen Act 1975 . (2) Nothing in sections 13 , 14 , and 25 of the Ombudsmen Act 1975 shall apply in relation to any function or power conferred on an Ombudsman by this Act or in relation to any proceeding, decision, recommendation, or act of an Ombudsman under this Act.
