Section 49 — Official Information Act 1982: Power to amend Schedule 1 by Order in Council

49 Power to amend Schedule 1 by Order in Council (1) Where any organisation named in Schedule 1 to this Act is abolished, or its name is altered, the Governor-General may, by Order in Council, make such amendments to that Schedule as may be necessary to give effect to the abolition or alteration. (2) Every Order in Council made under subsection (1) of this section shall be deemed to be a regulation for the purposes of the Regulations Act 1936.
