Section 156 — Privacy Act 2020: Commissioner may specify frequency of reporting by lead agency

156 Commissioner may specify frequency of reporting by lead agency (1) The Commissioner may require a lead agency to prepare a report under section 154(1)(b) — (a) annually; or (b) at less frequent intervals that the Commissioner may specify. (2) In determining the appropriate frequency in subsection (1) of a report under section 154(1)(b) , the Commissioner must have regard to— (a) the costs of reporting: (b) the degree of public interest in the matters to be included in the report: (c) the significance of the privacy implications of the approved information sharing agreement.
