Section 72 — Privacy Act 2020: Form of complaint

72 Form of complaint (1) A complaint must be made to the Commissioner and may be made orally or in writing. (2) A complaint made orally must be put in writing as soon as practicable. (3) If a person wishing to make a complaint to the Commissioner requires assistance to put the complaint in writing, the Commissioner must give that person any assistance that is reasonably necessary in the circumstances.
