2 Appointment of Privacy Commissioner The person who immediately before the commencement day held office as the Privacy Commissioner under the Privacy Act 1993 continues in office on and after that day as if the person were appointed under section 13 of this Act, and that person’s instrument of appointment is to be construed accordingly.
