66 When search breaches information privacy principle A person who searches a register for a purpose that is not a purpose set out in section 65 must be treated, for the purposes of Parts 5 and 6 of the Privacy Act 2020, as having breached an information privacy principle under section 69(2)(a)(i) of that Act.
