228 Damages may be recovered from lessor if consent is unreasonably withheld (1) A person specified in subsection (2) who suffers loss because of a failure by a lessor to comply with section 226(2) may recover from the lessor— (a) any payment required to be made or other consideration referred to in section 227(1)(a) ; and (b) damages for any loss suffered because of any other failure by the lessor to comply with section 226(2) . (2) The persons referred to in subsection (1) are— (a) the lessee; or (b) any assignee, sublessee, mortgagee, or person in possession of the leased premises.
