Section 239 — Property Law Act 2007: Application of subpart

239 Application of subpart (1) This subpart applies to a transfer or assignment of a leasehold estate or interest in land that comes into operation on or after 1 January 2008 (whether the lease came into operation before, on, or after that date). (2) If a transfer or assignment to which this subpart applies relates to part only of the land comprised in a lease, the provisions of this subpart apply only in relation to the part that is transferred or assigned.
