4D Application to de facto relationships that end on separation or death This Act applies to de facto relationships that end— (a) while both de facto partners are alive; or (b) when 1 of the de facto partners dies. Sections 4A to 4D were inserted, as from 1 February 2002, by section 9 Property (Relationships) Amendment Act 2001 (2001 No 5). See Part 9 of this Act as to the transitional and saving provisions.
