Section 108E — Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act 1988: Money or damages held by manager

108E Money or damages held by manager (1) Without limiting section 108C(2) , where there is a manager of the estate of the specified person under this Act, the court may direct that all or part of any money or damages awarded to that person, or of any money to which the person is entitled under an agreement, compromise, or settlement approved under section 108C , must be held by the manager as if it were part of the specified person's estate. (2) A manager who holds money or damages under a direction given under subsection (1) does so with and subject to the powers and discretion conferred upon a manager by this Act. Compare: 1957 No 36 s 66(5) Part 9A (comprising sections 108A to 108G) was inserted, as from 1 March 2002, by section 170(1) Public Trust Act 2001 (2001 No 100).
