22 When welfare guardian ceases to hold office A welfare guardian shall cease to hold office— (a) If the person for whom the welfare guardian is acting dies; or (b) If the welfare guardian dies or is adjudged bankrupt or becomes a special patient or a committed patient under the Mental Health Act 1969 or becomes subject to a property order or becomes otherwise incapable of acting; or (c) If the personal order by which the welfare guardian was appointed expires in accordance with section 17 of this Act or is discharged by the Court under section 86 of this Act.
