Section 71 — Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act 1988: Power to require attendance at pre-hearing conference

71 Power to require attendance at pre-hearing conference (1) Where a person fails to comply with a request under section 66 of this Act to attend a pre-hearing conference, a District Court Judge may, on the request of the Registrar of the Court, issue a summons requiring the person to attend a pre-hearing conference at a time and place to be specified in the summons. (2) Subsections (1) , (2) , (3) , and (5) of section 20 of the Summary Proceedings Act 1957 shall apply to a summons under this section as if it were a witness summons issued under that section.
