Section 13C — Residential Tenancies Act 1986: Tenancy agreements not unenforceable on grounds not in writing

13C Tenancy agreements not unenforceable on grounds not in writing Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in any other enactment, no tenancy agreement, or variation or renewal of a tenancy agreement, shall be unenforceable on the grounds that it is not in writing. Sections 13A to 13D were inserted, as from 1 December 1996, by section 6(1) Residential Tenancies Amendment Act 1996 (1996 No 7). See section 6(2) and (3) of that Act as to the transitional provisions.
