Section 73 — Residential Tenancies Act 1986: Seal of Tribunal

73 Seal of Tribunal (1) The Tribunal shall have, in the custody of each Registrar, a seal which shall be the seal of the Tribunal and shall be used for sealing documents that require to be sealed, and any other document that any Tenancy Adjudicator elects to seal. (2) The form of the seal shall be such as the chief executive of the Department for Courts from time to time determines. (3) The seal of the Tribunal shall be judicially noticed by all courts and for all purposes. Subsection (2) was amended, as from 1 July 1995, by section 10(1) Department of Justice (Restructuring) Act 1995 (1995 No 39) by substituting the words “ chief executive of the Department for Courts ” for the words “ Secretary for Justice ” .
