Section 135 — Resource Management Act 1991: Transferability of coastal permits

135 Transferability of coastal permits (1) A holder of a coastal permit— (a) May transfer the whole or any part of the holder's interest in the permit to any other person: (b) May not transfer the whole or any part of the holder's interest in the permit to another site— unless the consent or a rule in a regional coastal plan expressly provides otherwise. (2) The transfer of the holder's interest in a coastal permit under subsection (1) has no effect until written notice of the transfer is given to the consent authority that granted the permit. Subsection (1) was substituted, as from 7 July 1993, by section 77 Resource Management Amendment Act 1993 (1993 No 65).
