Section 151 — Resource Management Act 1991: Interpretation

151 Interpretation In this Part, unless the context otherwise requires,— Authorisation means an authorisation granted by the Minister of Conservation pursuant to section 161 Minister means the Minister of Conservation Order in Council means an Order in Council made under section 152 Public notice means— (a) A notice published in one or more daily newspapers circulating in the main metropolitan areas; and (b) A notice published in— (i) One or more daily newspapers circulating in the region to which any Order in Council relates; or (ii) One or more other newspapers that have at least an equivalent circulation in that region to the daily newspapers circulating in that region— together with such other public notice (if any) as the person giving it thinks desirable in the circumstances.
