Section 161 — Resource Management Act 1991: Grant of authorisation

161 Grant of authorisation (1) Where the Minister gives notice of acceptance of a tender under section 160 or enters into an agreement satisfactory to the Minister under section 159(1)(e) , the Minister shall grant a written authorisation, in such form as he or she thinks appropriate, to the successful tenderer or the person with whom the agreement was entered into, as the case may be. (2) The Minister shall cause a copy of every such authorisation to be given to the appropriate regional council.
