165L Authorisation not to confer right to coastal permit (1) The granting of an authorisation does not confer any right to the grant of a coastal permit in respect of the space that the authorisation relates to. (2) However, if a coastal permit is granted to the holder of an authorisation, the permit must not be granted for a period greater than the period specified in the authorisation. Part 7A (comprising sections 165A to 165ZJ) was inserted, as from 1 January 2005, by section 20 Resource Management Amendment Act (No 2) 2004 (2004 No 103).
