Section 201 — Resource Management Act 1991: Application for water conservation order

201 Application for water conservation order (1) Any person may, upon payment of any prescribed fee, apply to the Minister for the making of a water conservation order in respect of any water body. (2) An application under subsection (1) shall— (a) Identify the water body concerned; and (b) State the reasons for the application with reference, where practicable, to the matters set out in sections 199 , 200 , and 207 ; and (c) Describe the provisions which, in the applicant's opinion, should be included in a water conservation order and the effect that such provisions would have on the water body. (3) The Minister may by notice in writing require the applicant to supply such further information in respect of the application as the Minister considers necessary.
