Section 47 — Resource Management Act 1991: Board of inquiry

47 Board of inquiry (1) The Minister must appoint a board of inquiry to inquire into, and report on, the proposed national policy statement. (2) The Minister may, as the Minister sees fit,— (a) set terms of reference for the board of inquiry; and (b) set the rate of remuneration to be paid to members of the board of inquiry. Sections 46 and 47 were substituted, as from 20 May 2003, by section 20 Resource Management Amendment Act 2003 (2003 No 23). See sections 109 to 113 of that Act as to the transitional and savings provisions.
