Section 54 — Resource Management Act 1991: Publication of national policy statements

54 Publication of national policy statements When a national policy statement is issued, reviewed, changed, or revoked, the Minister shall— (a) Publish the statement, review, change, or revocation in whatever form he or she thinks appropriate; and (b) Send a copy of it to every local authority; and (c) Give public notice of its issue, review, change, or revocation.
