4 Effect of direction under section 165O (1) If an Order in Council is made under section 165O in relation to a proposed regional coastal plan to be notified under clause 5 or clause 26 of Schedule 1, the regional council must amend its proposed regional coastal plan in accordance with the direction and record the details of the direction on the plan. (2) Schedule 1 does not apply to an amendment under this clause. (3) A direction does not form part of the plan.
