Section 100 — Senior Courts Act 2016: Judges appointed by Governor-General

100 Judges appointed by Governor-General (1) A Judge is appointed by the Governor-General in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty. (2) The Chief Justice is appointed on the recommendation of the Prime Minister. (3) Every other Judge, and every Associate Judge, is appointed on the recommendation of the Attorney-General.
