Section 137 — Senior Courts Act 2016: Salaries and allowances of acting Judges

137 Salaries and allowances of acting Judges An acting Judge or acting Associate Judge, while acting as a member of a court to the extent authorised, but not otherwise, must be paid, out of public money, without further appropriation than this section,— (a) a salary at the rate for the time being payable to a permanent Judge of that court (other than the head of that court) or an Associate Judge; and (b) the allowances referred to in section 135(c) payable to a Judge of that court (other than the head of that court) or an Associate Judge.
