41 Witness not required to attend hearing of civil proceeding unless allowances and expenses paid A witness is not required to attend the hearing of a civil proceeding in the High Court unless allowances and travelling expenses in accordance with regulations made under the Criminal Procedure Act 2011 have been paid or tendered to the witness— (a) at the time of service on the witness of the subpoena; or (b) a reasonable time before the hearing.
