Section 97 — Senior Courts Act 2016: Eligibility for appointment as Chief High Court Judge

97 Eligibility for appointment as Chief High Court Judge A person may only be appointed the Chief High Court Judge if that person— (a) is— (i) a High Court Judge; or (ii) appointed a High Court Judge at the same time as being appointed the Chief High Court Judge; but (b) is not— (i) a Supreme Court Judge; or (ii) a Court of Appeal Judge.
