Section 157 — Sentencing Act 2002: Offenders liable to come up for sentence if called on

157 Offenders liable to come up for sentence if called on (1) This section applies to every order made under section 21 of the Criminal Justice Act 1985 requiring an offender to appear for sentence if called upon to do so that was still in force immediately before the commencement date. (2) The order— (a) continues in force as if it were an order made under section 110 ; and (b) ceases to have effect on the date on which it would have ceased to have effect had this Act not been enacted.
