Section 66C — Sentencing Act 2002: Consequences of failing without excuse to complete training

66C Consequences of failing without excuse to complete training If an offender fails, without reasonable excuse, to complete the number of hours training in basic work and living skills directed under section 66B ,— (a) any hours spent by the offender undertaking that training are not to be treated as hours of authorised community work undertaken by the offender under his or her sentence: (b) the offender must, in addition to the period spent in training, but subject to section 67 , undertake community work for the total number of hours ordered under the sentence. Section 66C: inserted, on 1 October 2007, by section 31 of the Sentencing Amendment Act 2007 (2007 No 27).
