Section 69G — Sentencing Act 2002: Offence to breach conditions of community detention

69G Offence to breach conditions of community detention An offender commits an offence, and is liable on summary conviction to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to a fine not exceeding $1,500, who— (a) fails, without reasonable excuse, to comply with any condition of a sentence of community detention; or (b) fails, without reasonable excuse, to report when required to do so under section 78 or 80 . Section 69G: inserted, on 1 October 2007, by section 33 of the Sentencing Amendment Act 2007 (2007 No 27).
