Section 106 — Social Security Act 2018: MSD must make people affected aware of their obligations, consequences of non-compliance, and their review and appeal rights

106 MSD must make people affected aware of their obligations, consequences of non-compliance, and their review and appeal rights MSD must take reasonable and appropriate steps to make a person to whom an obligation under this Part applies— (a) aware of that obligation; and (b) aware of the consequences of failure to comply with that obligation and, in particular, the sanctions that may be imposed under Part 5 ; and (c) aware of that person’s rights under sections 391 and 397 to review and appeal decisions relating to the obligation.
