Section 131 — Social Security Act 2018: Attendance of dependent child aged 3 to 5 years at early childhood education programme

131 Attendance of dependent child aged 3 to 5 years at early childhood education programme (1) A person to whom this section applies must take all reasonable steps to ensure that each dependent child aged 3 to 5 years— (a) is enrolled in an approved early childhood education programme (as that term is defined in regulations made under section 430 ); and (b) attends that programme in the manner and to the minimum extent prescribed by regulations made under section 430 . (2) This section does not apply if the dependent child is enrolled at and regularly attends a registered school (as defined in regulations made under section 430 ). Compare: 1964 No 136 s 60RA(3)(a)
