202 MSD may refuse or cancel benefit for failure to take reasonable steps to obtain maintenance (1) This section applies if MSD is satisfied an applicant has failed to take reasonable steps to obtain, or has foregone rights to, maintenance the applicant may be entitled to in respect of the applicant under the Family Proceedings Act 1980 or any other Act. (2) MSD may refuse to grant a benefit, cancel or reduce a benefit already granted, or grant a benefit at a reduced rate. Compare: 1964 No 136 s 74(1)(e)
