Section 221 — Social Security Act 2018: Purpose of sections 222 to 224

221 Purpose of sections 222 to 224 (1) The purpose of sections 222 to 224 is to improve the financial and social outcomes for families that include people to whom those sections apply. (2) Sections 222 to 224 achieve their purpose— (a) by providing earlier access to employment services and expectations; and (b) while recognising the care and development needs of children.
