Section 295 — Social Security Act 2018: Time for filing charging document

295 Time for filing charging document (1) The limitation period in respect of an offence against this Act or any regulations made under this Act ends on the date that is 12 months after the date on which the facts alleged in the charging document are brought to the knowledge of any officer concerned in the administration of this Act. (2) Subsection (1) overrides section 25 of the Criminal Procedure Act 2011. Compare: 1964 No 136 s 128
