Section 331 — Social Security Act 2018: Expiry date, and specified benefit, defined

331 Expiry date, and specified benefit, defined (1) In this section and sections 332 to 336 ,— expiry date , in relation to a specified benefit, means the expiry date prescribed for that specified benefit by regulations made under section 441(1) specified benefit means a benefit that is— (a) jobseeker support; or (b) sole parent support, supported living payment, or emergency benefit, unless that benefit is for the time being declared not to be a specified benefit for the purposes of this section and sections 332 to 336 by regulations made under section 441(1) . (2) Regulations made under section 441(1) that declare sole parent support, supported living payment, or emergency benefit not to be a specified benefit may, without limitation, declare not to be a specified benefit for the purposes of this section and sections 332 to 336 any of those benefits— (a) as granted on only 1 or more specified available eligibility grounds: (b) as granted to only 1 or more specified categories, classes, or kinds of beneficiaries.
