Section Sch1-21 — Social Security Act 2018: Ministerial welfare programmes

21 Ministerial welfare programmes (1) Welfare programmes approved and established under section 124(1)(d) of the Social Security Act 1964 are saved as if they were special assistance programmes approved and established under section 101 . (2) A reference in the programmes to a provision of the Social Security Act 1964 is to be interpreted as a reference to this Act, or to the corresponding provision of this Act, to the extent necessary to reflect sensibly the intent of the programmes ( see section 9 of this Act).
