50 Benefits review committee reviews (1) Subpart 2 of Part 7 applies (with all necessary modifications), and the provisions of the Social Security Act 1964 about reviews by a benefits review committee do not apply, to a decision made before the changeover, and made in relation to a person who, or made in relation to an estate whose personal representative,— (a) immediately before the changeover could have begun under section 10A of that Act (within a specified, or a further allowed, period) a review of the decision; and (b) before the changeover did not begin under section 10A of that Act a review of the decision. (2) Reviews begun under section 10A of the Social Security Act 1964 and not withdrawn or completed at the changeover must be completed under subpart 2 of Part 7. (3) For the purpose of subclause (2), every benefits review committee under section 10A of the Social Security Act 1964 and existing at the changeover continues as if it were established under Schedule 7 .
