8 Jobseeker support: validation of payments when spouse’s or partner’s regular support lost due to sentence of imprisonment, etc (1) This clause applies to jobseeker support under the Social Security Act 1964 that was, or is yet to be, paid— (a) to a person to whom section 20A(d) or (e) of that Act applies; and (b) in respect of a period— (i) on or after 15 July 2013; and (ii) before the changeover. (2) That jobseeker support is payable as if— (a) the person were a single beneficiary for clauses 1(ba) and (c) and 5A of Schedule 9 of that Act; and (b) section 80BA(4)(b)(iv) of that Act applied to jobseeker support granted to the person.
