19 Purpose of clause 20 The purpose of clause 20 is— (a) to authorise MSD and any contracted service provider to disclose to each other relevant personal information about persons to whom the provider’s contract under section 373 applies; and (b) to assist MSD to exercise and perform powers and functions under the provisions specified in section 373(1)(a) or, as the case requires, 373(1)(b) and the provider to provide services under the contract; and (c) to enable the prescription of— (i) the circumstances in which the personal information may be disclosed; and (ii) conditions governing the disclosure of the personal information; and (iii) conditions governing the way in which the personal information is to be dealt with by the person to whom it is disclosed.
